What Are Your Rates?
After learning about your project and your goals, I’ll provide a flat project rate so there are no surprises.
How Do You Normally Work with Clients?
My focus is on long-term relationships. Most of my clients have ongoing content needs and have been with me for years.
What’s Your Process?
Initial steps: Our first step is to have a conversation about your project. After discussing your needs and goals, I’ll provide a proposal or quote. When you’re ready to get started, I require a 50% deposit for first-time clients.
Discovery and research: From there I move into the research phase, including a discovery process where I get to know your business. I’ll also interview subject matter experts (SMEs) and do my own research to make sure I have everything I need to write a strong piece.
Writing: Once interviews and research are complete, it’s time to get down to writing. Depending on the specific project, you may receive a detailed outline for review. After you’ve approved the outline I get to work on a first draft.
Edits: I typically turn around edits within 2 to 3 business days (often sooner), depending on the length of the piece. I’m not a writer who’s offended by edits—in fact, I see them as an opportunity to collaborate on strengthening the piece.
Results and feedback: Knowing how the content performed is critical for me to continue delivering exceptional work. I’ll check in afterwards to find out how the piece worked (if you’re thrilled, I’ll also ask for a review or referral).
When can you start?
I can usually start on new projects within a few weeks, depending on my workload. It’s best to get in touch early.
